Program Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of the nature of science as a process of trial & error.

Propose hypotheses, make, test, and improve predictions using data.

Identify, read, and understand scientific literature. 

Communicate analysis & conclusions orally and in writing.  

Analyze scientific studies in light of their ecological, social, economic, ethical, and cultural implications.

Work collaboratively to design, conduct, and evaluate experiments, projects, and other course activities.

Demonstrate the ability to incorporate sources & skills from other disciplines with those of biology.

Demonstrate the ability to place other disciplines in context to biology. 

Demonstrate skills in basic light microscopy.
