EMS 1101 - Emergency Medical Technician
6 Credits This course meets the lecture component of the National EMS Education Standards for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). It includes the basic knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to assess, provide care, and transport sick or injured emergency patients. Successful course completion qualifies the graduate to apply for the National Registry EMT certification exam.
Pre-Requisites One of these two: EAP 0099 or ENG 0099 (Minimum grade: 1.67 GPA Equivalent)
