Program Outcomes

Analyze how race and other socially constructed identities contribute to systemic inequalities and oppression within U.S. societal structures while evaluating students’ perceptions and bias within the context of these social structures. 

Critically examine social injustices and inequities from various historical, cultural, and geographic settings.

Assess the scholarly and activist paradigms, including intersectionality, that understand and challenge systemic social inequalities perpetuating race and other points of identity as sites of power and domination.

Examine social movements and community organizing from a variety of perspectives and lenses.
