Program Outcomes

Identify, explain, and implement components of common information technology systems, devices, and protocols used in the enterprise environment such as hardware, software, workstations, servers, and network equipment.

Analyze and troubleshoot common problems with information technology systems, devices, and protocols used in the enterprise environment such as hardware, software, workstations, servers, and network equipment.

Evaluate, implement, and support information technology security measures at the server, network, and enterprise level.

Integrate the knowledge and skills acquired in a variety of information technology domains and disciplines and apply it to complex projects, challenges, or business problems.

Communicate clearly, ethically, and responsibly in various information technology and workplace contexts and scenarios.

 

Important Note: Many of the courses in ITC degree programs have prerequisites that limit the maximum number of technical courses that can be taken in any one semester. To ensure timely graduation, appropriate course loads, and the correct mix of technical and liberal arts courses, students are strongly encouraged to meet with an academic advisor, counselor, and/or faculty member from the ITC department before registering for classes to determine a degree plan.
