HSER 1125 - Action Based Learning Experience

Introduces students to an experientially based course that will be service learning oriented. Students will immerse themselves in the local community/culture partnering with local agencies in serving those individuals and families in need. Students will be traveling to out of state or out of region localities.

Participate with local communities in service related projects Observe and discuss on how grassroots organizations interface and serve populations in need Describe the mission and vision of the sponsoring agency students will be assisting within the area Analyze and discuss student’s understanding of the cultural milieu they find themselves in
