BUS 2450 - Business Analytics II
4 Credits Builds upon BUS 2400 - Business Analytics I - to include advanced features of Tableau and Alteryx, with a focus on predictive models used to make more effective business decisions. Topics include classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting models, A/B testing, and visualizing public data sets. Final project will include a presentation of discoveries learned throughout the course.

Tableau dashboarding, including parameters
Project presentation utilizing Tableau Story Points.
Learning Outcomes Assess predictive model options and apply most appropriate model(s) to a provided dataset.
Perform data wrangling and cleansing necessary to utilize predictive analytics tools in Alteryx.
Utilize the Alteryx Classification tools of Logistic, Decision Tree, Forest Model, and Boosted while also accessing which of these tools is most appropriate to a dataset.
Perform time-series forecasting with Alteryx, utilizing ETS and ARIMA models, while also accessing which of these models is most appropriate to a provided dataset.
Perform A/B testing with Alteryx to a provided dataset.
Output Alteryx Predictive Tools analysis for data visualization in Tableau.
Exhibit collegial collaboration in group activities, including group presentations.
