BUS 1118 - Business Ethics
3 Credits Examines issues related to ethics in business and their relationship and impact upon society, the economy, and environment. Students will increase their awareness in making decisions based upon ethical judgments. Students will examine the roles, responsibilities, and conflicts of business management in the context of organizational ethics.

Learning Outcomes Discuss the overall concepts of business ethics Examine the roles, responsibilities, and conflicts of business management in the context of organizational ethics Define and analyze an ethical dilemma facing an organization, its practices and policies, and develop a proposed course of change or resolution Assess a business ethical issue and/or conflict within an organization Synthesize the business ethical issue and/or conflict by applying critical thinking, individual reasoning, and problem solving skills Increase individual awareness of the integral role and connection of organizational ethics as they relate to the society, economy, and environment
